Eberhard Reimann

Hopefully he won´t win the lottery, as we would loose him as illustrator then.
Translating highly specialized knowledge into illustrations for medicine, science, and technology.
Eberhard Reimann is the specialist for illustrations in the fields of medicine, technology and science. To do this, he can draw on a wide range of techniques, which he masters with virtuosity. He works mainly with 3D software and Photoshop. For someone like him, it is fitting to be called a luminary in his field. Eberhard is requested by chemical and pharmaceutical companies, for marketing and advertising, product illustrations and information brochures. His long-standing interest in medicine and biology has led to a deep understanding of the anatomy of the body, down to the processes at the cellular level. Thus, thanks also to his ability to communicate with medical professionals, he succeeds in presenting the human body, its organs, tissue histology, biochemical processes at the cellular level, circulatory systems, etc. in a particularly aesthetic way. Complex subjects become easier to grasp in vivid representations.
Eberhard's ability to grasp the essential in the complicated and to visualize it vividly, almost haptically, can also be found in his works in the fields of technology, industry, planning and architecture. One immediately wants to move into his architectural representations.
Eberhard studied at the HAW Hamburg. His fascination with anatomy developed during his diploma thesis. The topic: "An atlas of embryology". The work was created in months of intensive collaboration with the University Hospital Hamburg Eppendorf, during which countless drawings were created. That was the nucleus for a style that combines precision, clarity and aesthetics.
His interests in historical cultures, Asian languages, his skills as a tango dancer...all ensure that even the most dry subjects come to life through him in a variety of techniques from brush to 3D.
